Back when I first started making money as a freelance writer, it was a different ballgame. 

Writing used to take me 10+ hours - daily.

And finding clients to write for? That was close to rocket science.

Fast forward to today, it’s NEVER been easier to make money as a freelance content writer…

And (best of all!) it’s getting easier by the day. 

You can get a solid freelance profile up in a matter of minutes. And, with all the opportunities to work online since the pandemic, the internet is crawling with freelance writing gigs.

(Just ask my partner Thomas, whose company processed $57,875 in writing work last month!)

BUT - it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. In fact, this (like many things) is a game where some people win BIG, and others fight over the scraps left over.

If done improperly, freelance writing can involve a TON of work that can become VERY time-consuming and strenuous.

Don’t get me wrong, working for yourself is about 10 times better than having a "day job" where you get paid the same no matter how much work you do.

This has led many people into the “Freelance Trap.”

So, what is the freelance trap? Let me give you a quick little definition right now.

People think: “If I JUST get started on my own, I can totally pull this off!”

Right?!

Well, not entirely…

When you try to figure it all out on your own - you’re going at it with no PLAN and NONE of the tips that the pros use.

Enter AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ChatGPT - your secret weapons in the freelance world.

SO - How do you circumvent the “learning curve” that stops so many freelance careers DEAD in their tracks?

One word: SYSTEMS. 

Most people who want to launch successful remote careers know there’s a “right way” and a “wrong way” of doing things.

However, the chances of them landing on the "right stuff" in the CRUCIAL first few months of freelancing are, well…

Pretty small.

In fact, EVERY successful freelancer I’ve seen rise to wealth in the past few years has been taught by someone.

It’s not how it used to be, where anybody with a laptop and a dream could make things happen.

The truth is that: you don’t know what you don’t know.

While you have Google at your fingertips, 99% of the information on kicking off a successful freelance writing career is really, really bad.

That means you might end up chasing your tail for YEARS on end before getting the “hang of it.” 

In other words, you’ll end up on the wrong side of the freelance trap here, where you’re doing a ton of work but making very little.

On the flip side, let’s say you’re part of that 1-10% of successful freelancers who end up in the middle of this spectrum. 

While they might be doing OKAY financially, most people I’ve met in this category are working their tails off, and it’s hardly the life they really wanted.

And by that time, if you’re like most people, you just can’t sustain this level of grind forever…

Think about it like this - when’s the last time you had to learn a new skill? 

How long did it take?

It might have been before you had all those crazy, pressing responsibilities of life…like family, kids, jobs, 401k contributions, the whole works.

For me, it was learning to make a perfect batch of cold brew coffee, how to iron my shirts so they come up crispy clean every time, and, of course, how to make money online as a freelance writer.

I didn’t realize that, while each of these things definitely took some trial and error, mastering them really just involved knowing the right SYSTEM and getting it down pat.

AND - had someone just shown me the ideal measurements for making a perfect batch of coffee, the right way to iron my shirts, or how to use AI to cut the time I spend freelance writing in HALF - then I’d have gotten to where I am now so, so much faster. 

So, that’s why, in my first video here, I’m showing you how to use AI and ChatGPT, the new program from OpenAI that everybody seems to be talking about, as your absolute best friend as a freelance writer.

YES - when used correctly, this little hack is basically a license to “print money.” 

Best of all, it puts you on the upper end of the freelance graph that I’ve shown you above.

In other words, you’re making MORE money in LESS time. 

One of my students, Joshua, had this to say after using my custom ChatGPT prompt that I show you in the above video…

“While I had managed to pick up more than a few good freelance writing clients on my own, it was getting seriously overwhelming trying to fill all the work I was getting. While it was still NOTHING compared to my day job, I’m always looking for hacks to improve my output. This pretty much did it for me.”

What’s great about Joshua’s process is that he can do the same amount of work in half the time with the help of ChatGPT. Now, that allows him to spend more time with his family OR even double his output and make TWICE as much as before.
